About the Job: The Accountant position is responsible for maintaining accurate accounting records & reconciliations and financial/management reporting. Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual journal entries and cost allocations. Participate in month-end close and review of financial results Prepare and analyze the periodic reporting for Alfa Laval Inc and other subsidiaries Collect additional information necessary for the statutory closing reporting Prepare account reconciliations and investigate outstanding items. Investigate and correct errors or inconsistencies in financial entries or reports. Prepare bank reconciliations. Provide ad hoc financial reports, analysis and projects as requested. Support other team members in day-to-day processes. Document and update standard operating procedures for all owned processes. Identify potential process improvements. Be responsible for data warehouse maintenance. Assist with auditor requests. What you know: Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting (preferred) CPA preferred (or equivalent) Relevant industry experience in manufacturing a plus. What’s in it for you? These considerations can cause your compensation to vary and will also be dependent on your location. The overall salary range for this role is typically $65,000 to $85,000 base.
