Overview
At C Spire, we are customer inspired. Each member of our team is charged with delivering a world-class experience to every customer. Part of our Marketing Analytics & Data Science teams, the Marketing Data Analyst leverages research and analytical insights to identify trends and manage data analysis efforts in a fast-moving atmosphere. This position is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining big data sets for C Spire’s Marketing teams. This position collaborates closely with key stakeholders in Business Intelligence, Database Operations, and across our line of business (LOB) marketing, sales, and operations teams.
Responsibilities
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Management Information Systems, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Statistics with 2 years relevant work experience or equivalent work experience with Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Working knowledge of programming and algorithms in C, C , python, javascript, SQL, html5, mapping
- Strong working experience of scheduling cron jobs, unix scripting
- Experience with any one or more Pivotal, Hadoop/Hive, Teradata Aster, MS SQL server is preferred
- Proven project work with evidence of creative and critical thinking.
- Demonstrated analytical acumen and ability to work independently.
- Demonstrated ability to thrive in a dynamic environment and meet deadlines.
- Experience with application development and/or web development.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS /WORKING CONDITIONS: Must be able to sit for long periods of time and use computer keyboard and/or mouse, while viewing computer screen.
