C & S Sweeping Services, Inc. is growing! We are looking for an Accounts Receivable specialist for our Phoenix location to join our small but dedicated accounting team. This is an in-office position with normal business hours. The AR specialist must be dependable, be a self-starter with excellent interpersonal skills and a desire to grow beyond their position and should be able to work efficiently in a fast-paced but casual environment.

JOB SUMMARY:

The right candidate will perform all aspects of A/R responsibilities - billing, reconciliations, and reporting, helping company to keep its finances and reputation in good standing by maintaining cash flow and strong, positive relationships with our customers.

The AR specialist will be responsible for:

• Calculating billing amounts and creating different types of invoices
• Efficiently and professionally communicating with customers
• Reminding customers about upcoming payments or past-due accounts
• Making electronic or cash deposits to company bank accounts
• Using software to send invoices and payment reminders electronically.
• Keeping accurate records of customers payments
• Creating reports for management and collaborating on other projects
• Assisting in daily office and other accounting operations, such as filing, mail processing, and collection calls.

SKILLS:

• Ability to provide good customer service and address complaints promptly
• Knowledge in bookkeeping and other financial software
• Knowledge in calculating account balances and interest rates
• Knowledge of company service pricing and sales policies
• Knowledge of using payment processing systems

QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum 2-year experience in similar position

Associate Degree in Accounting (Preferred)

QuickBooks Enterprise knowledge or similar accounting system (Preferred)

Proficiency in Microsoft applications, such as Word, Excel, and Outlook.
