Job Summary
The Scheduling Coordinator is responsible for scheduling our caregivers and staffing shifts for in-home care for multiple clients at different times, recruiting candidates and employee retention. The Scheduling Coordinator is a key figure in the Agency that communicates directly with the care team in the elders’ home. The Scheduling Coordinator must be trustworthy, honest, caring and a team player. The Coordinator will have to be prepared and have the experience to sit with the client until their caregiver arrives in emergency cases.
Responsibilities
· Office-based position, with field work, and a set weekly schedule. This is not a remote position.
· Monday through Friday, 40 hours per week
· Maintaining daily staffing schedules
· Able to work under pressure.
· Excellent communicating skills with clients and employees
· New employee recruitment
· Accuracy of Data Input and Correspondence
· Excellent organizational skills
· Capable of following through with multiple tasks
· Proficient in Scheduling
· Knowledgeable of HIPAA and client confidentiality regulations
· On-Call (additional pay) and Weekends as needed
Education & Experience
High School diploma or equivalent required. Minimum of 2 (two) years documented home care or facility staffing/scheduling experience. Prior caregiving experience required.
License / Certification
Valid Texas driver’s license and insurance required.
Compensation & Benefits
Full Time Hourly Position
$18 - $20 / per hour is commensurate with education and experience.
