C&L Autobody is Hiring a Technician Assistant Near Morristown, NJ
We are seeking an experienced and quality-driven Automotive Technician to fill an open position in our body shop. Our ideal candidate will be confident in disassembling & reassembling vehicles including all manufacturers. Compensation:$17 - $25 hourly
Responsibilities:- Ensure a straightforward repair process by clearly communicating systems issues and repairs
- Apply a checklist-based approach to ensure a comprehensive examination of all vehicle systems, including the engine, air conditioning, transmission, and brake systems
- Perform routine maintenance, as needed, like checking fluid levels, rotating tires, and oil changes
- Facilitate customer satisfaction and repeat business by following all manufacturer specifications for vehicle systems repairs
- Operate diagnostic equipment to accurately determine the cause of malfunction codes with the vehicle’s integrated computer system
Qualified candidates should have a working knowledge of Auto Body/Mechanical repair with a concentration on disassembling and reassembling vehicles.
Qualifications:- Automotive service technology training program completion or equivalent years of experience is required; associates degree is a bonus
- ASE certification or comparable standard service technician credential, such as SAE, is attractive
- Excellent customer service and communications skills are necessary
- Possess a high school diploma or GED

We also manage one of the largest towing fleets in the state, As one of NJ’s largest family-owned MSOs, we pride ourselves on delivering an unmatched level of customer service and craftsmanship for all your collision repair needs.
We offer full benefits (medical, dental, and vision), paid time off, and bonuses. Our hours are Monday through Friday, 8 am to 5 pm.
