About the role:

We are a “Production Job Shop”; All our parts we produce repeat on regular basis monthly quarterly and yearly. We also have jobs that continue to run 24/5. The Maintenance Tech that holds this position will need to cover a lot of different areas in our shop. Candidate must be able to interact with all levels of the company, from owner to shop leads as well as operators on the floor. Candidates must have a willingness to take every opportunity and share their knowledge.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain Mazak FH 6800/8800, Nexus 6800’s, Pallet-techs, OKK 1250s, Grinders, Etc.
• Perform mechanical repairs (and rebuild) on all machines.
• Check inputs and outputs if Mitsubishi and Fanuc PLCs
• Support with scheduling PM, reading reports, diagrams and drawings.
• Working knowledge of tool Probing function for CNC Mill Machines.
• Experience repairing hydraulic/pneumatics, 480v systems, single/three phase motors.
• Repair Servo-drives, limit switches, VFDs, Prox sensors, Encoders, Power supplies, and pallet change codes.
• Install, troubleshoot, repair and maintain machine tool equipment and controls.
• Use machine tool manuals, technical documents, and internal and vendor resources to research machine issues.
• Wire and rebuild high pressure coolants systems.
• Maintain and rebuild according to OEM specifications.
• Work based on a sense of urgency with machine down conditions.
• Experience with gear boxes, shafts, bearings, valves, pumps, etc.
• Troubleshoot hydraulics, electronics, and software, electrical, pneumatic and mechanical systems.

Please Note: These openings are expected to start as a 3-month probationary contract prior to converting full-time. For strong candidates, there is a chance to be hired directly as experiential requirements are met.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $27.00 - $34.00 per hour
