Bynder recently acquired GatherContent, a Content Operations and Workflow Platform that helps teams produce effective content, at scale. The Role

The social media specialist is responsible for managing day-to-day execution of a comprehensive digital communications program to advance Bynder’s business, brand, and advocacy goals. The candidate will also manage the social presence and brand communications for GatherContent by Bynder, our standalone Content Operations platform.

We are seeking a creative social media professional with a genuine passion for building social communities for a global audience. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of social media planning, execution, and optimization, with the ability to plan from scratch and drive ideas from conception to execution. We’re looking for someone who is going to look at our brand with fresh ideas and innovative ways we can improve and enhance the Bynder voice via measurable, consistent growth and heightened engagement on all social platforms.

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement social media strategy to align with business goals
  • Draft editorial calendar and manage day-to-day channel operations for the corporate social media channels (including Bynder corporate channels and GatherContent by Bynder channels)
  • Build innovative, global social media campaigns, optimized for the audience and channel.
  • Participate in monitoring, listening and other analytics to assess the climate, content performance and inform the editorial calendar.
  • Maintain and enforce editorial style guidelines for social content.
  • Collaborate across the team (in particular paid social team) to create and curate assets that engage key audiences and contribute to demand generation and brand awareness efforts
  • Monitor trends and best practices in social media tools, applications, channels, design, and strategy.
  • Evangelize social sharing and employee social engagement within the organization
  • Communicate social trends and feedback on topics of discussion relevant to the business for alignment 
  • Regularly communicate relevant trending topics and channel performance insights to internal teams 
  • Develop and execute social media measurement and reporting to include hard metrics and insightful analysis.

Skills

  • Expertise in managing social channels for a global brand and creating content that connects with a diverse global audience 
  • Experience managing social media channels and campaigns for events
  • Strong writing skills required; ability to create and maintain social media editorial calendars
  • Proficient in the tactical use of core platforms, most notably LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube / Vimeo
  • Demonstrated ability to test and optimize digital content on social channels.
  • Applied understanding of social media platforms in a B2B environment.
  • Strong ability to assess opportunities for fit with both the Bynder and GatherContent brand style and standards.
  • Creativity to draft and implement content for social channels across regional and vertical segments. 
  • Strong analytical skills, with ability to drive meaningful actions from regular reporting
  • Basic visual design skills a plus
  • Familiarity with Hootsuite and Google Analytics is helpful
  • C-suite / senior leadership social profile management a plus
