Butterfield Market is Hiring a Cashier Near New York, NY
Prior cashier experience required for busy Upper East Side speciality food market.
We are looking for friendly, outgoing and love customer service candidates.
Must be available to work flexible schedules. Full-Time positions available.
Job Responsibilities
- Accurately operate a register/POS and handle cash and credit card transactions.
- Greet and assist customers with any questions
- Count, organize and balance cash drawer
- Adheres to Butterfield's cash handling policies and procedures
- Understand and be knowledgeable of the product for sale to assist customers and accurately process transactions
- Maintain a clean and sanitary work environment
- Follow all safety policies and procedures
- Performs other duties as needed
Prior cashier experience with busy Upper East Side specialty food market is preferred.
