Yearly compensation potential of up to $80k (salary plus bonus) depending on experience.

Responsibilities:

• Develops a good working knowledge of the ERP system and Accounting system and the integration of the two.
• Completes day to day accounting entries including but not limited to miscellaneous journal entries, correcting entries, and transfer of machines to the lease and rental fleet.
• Conduct monthly and quarterly account reconciliations to ensure accurate reporting.
• Back up for the completion of sales tax and federal excise filings.
• Assists with month end adjusting entries and closing.
• Assist with monthly financial statement analysis.
• Coordinate the procurement card process including but not limited to ordering new cards, researching potential fraud transactions, resetting passwords, training, and on-going testing of transactions.
• Validate and process wire transfers or other EFT payments.
• Assists with miscellaneous customer invoicing.
• Answers and discusses day to day questions with the branch locations.
• Involved in preparing audit working papers and tax information.
• Coordinates with A/P for accounts payable check runs.
• Assists others in the department when needed.
• Works within and promotes vision, mission, and values of BMC.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
• 2-4 years of accounting experience, preferred but not required
• Must be proficient in MS Word and Excel.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills required.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Ability for Analytical review.
