The Warehouse Manager will be responsible for all warehouse activities to maximize efficiency, service level, and a safe working environment.

***Responsibilities:***

* Oversee all facets of the warehouse, including shipping, receiving, logistics, transportation, documentation, and the repair and maintenance of equipment and building.

* Direct, coordinate, and implement the work plan for the warehouse; meet with staff to identify and resolve problems; assign work activities and projects; monitor workflow, review and evaluate work processes, methods, and procedures for receiving, storing, picking, shipping and inventory control.

* Hire, train, motivate, and evaluate personnel and performance; work with employees to correct deficiencies, develop goals and annual review.

* Ensure safe working conditions including properly training employees on proper safety methods.

* Coordinate with other departments to ensure outstanding service and on-time delivery.

* Proactively create, design, and implement continuous improvement programs to reduce cost and increase productivity.

* Ensure compliance with Company safety policies and procedures, along with OSHA rules and regulations.

* Oversee department preventive maintenance program for best performance and efficiency.

* Prepare and present reports as required.

***Requirements:***

* Bachelors degree preferred, but not required.

* Minimum 5 years related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.

* Minimum 5 years experience in management/supervisory roles, and warehouse management.

* Strong leadership and conflict resolution skills.

* Knowledgeable of state and federal OSHA regulations.

* Strong computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office products.

* Experience working with ERP software.

* Dependable, responsible and willing to accept accountability.

* Ability to effectively communicate and interact with a diverse team.

* Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment.

* Results-oriented with good planning, organizational and time-management skills.

* Handles multiple tasks in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

* Strong follow through and attention to detail.

* Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills.

* Experience in forklift certification and inspection, hazmat certification and operating various warehouse equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks, stock pickers, etc.).

* Ability to work in a warehouse environment with seasonal temperature variations.

* Physical activity includes regular standing, reaching, stooping, bending, kneeling, crouching and climbing stairs and ladders.

* Must be able to lift heavy objects up to 70 pounds.

* Must be able to work at a height of up to 26 feet above the ground with provided safety equipment/processes/training.
