Built Technologies is Hiring a Remote Senior Analytics Engineer
ROLE SUMMARY
We’re looking for a skilled Analytics Engineer to join our Enterprise Analytics team. As an Analytics Engineer, you will design and deliver well-defined, transformed, and documented data sets and dashboards. Your work will ensure Revenue and Finance teams have the data needed to make crucial business decisions. You will have the opportunity to design data solutions and solve challenging problems using Built’s cloud-based data infrastructure. As a member of the Data & Analytics team, you will develop alongside talented analysts, data scientists and product managers to help build a world-class data platform.
In this role you will:
- Design, build, and maintain data pipelines, data-marts, and dashboards that will provide a complete view of Built’s business from Demand Generation to Client Success
- Educate and enable cross-functional teams to leverage data-marts for operational and analytical purposes, creating scale and maximizing the effectiveness of data
- Collaborate closely with Revenue and Finance teams to identify key business challenges and develop data-driven solutions to address them, serving as a strategic partner in systems thinking and advanced analytical modeling
- Support data users at Built by troubleshooting technical data issues and clearly articulating the problem and solution
- Work with fellow members of the Data & Analytics team to support Built’s data platform and improve our internal documentation, data quality, standards for style and best practices
Who You Are:
- Expert in SQL and understanding of at least one programming language (Python preferred)
- 3 years of experience in data engineering, business intelligence, and/or data analytics
- 2 years of experience in cloud-based ELT technologies (Fivetran, Snowflake, dbt)
- 2 years of experience with analytics dashboarding and visualization tools (Tableau, Looker, Sigma, etc.)
- Extensive expertise developing data models, maintaining data flows, and ensuring consistent data collection for cross-functional teams
- Comfortable working with Git and the command line
- Strong organizational, communication, and presentation skills
Built’s salary range for this position is $117,000-$148,500 USD per year. The pay range is designed to accommodate upward mobility in the role, therefore it encompasses the full span of proficiency levels for this role and we believe that the midpoint of the range is competitive in the market. Salary is just one component of Built's total compensation package for employees. Your total rewards package at Built will include equity, top-notch medical, dental and vision coverage, an unlimited PTO policy, and other benefits.
