Building Connections Behavioral Health is Hiring a Board Certified Behavior Analyst - BCBA (FT) Near Pleasanton, CA
Responsibilities:
- Create recommendations for comprehensive services.
- Collaborate with all other team members of the client’s educational environment.
- Training and coaching staff and facilitating treatment teams; program monitoring, etc.
- Supervising Clinical Supervisors.
- Provide information and training to parents, teachers, community members, and families in a caring, and thoughtful manner.
- Consistently conduct oversights and consult logs while onsite.
- Regularly update client programs in our online system.
- Frequently conduct skills assessments.
- Communicate with Clinical staff about successes and challenges.
- Complete appropriate and timely reports (progress, updates, etc).
- Meet monthly Clinical obligations. Complete consultation hours for clients monthly.
- Develop and implement skills acquisition and social skills programs (FBAs and FAAs).
- Develop and implement positive behavior plans and strategies (PBSP, PBIP).
- Draft conceptually well-written and grammatically correct progress reports, outlining the client’s strengths and deficits.
- Reports should reflect progress, challenges, and relevant future goals and strategies.
- Travel by car, from home to home to deliver and evaluate therapies.
- Conduct regular meetings with BCBA exam candidates.
- BCBA-D BCBA, LMFT, or LCSW certification is required.
- Knowledge to adhere to ethical standards in HIPPA and BCBA code of ethics.
- Experience with ABA, DTT, PRT, VB, and clients with special needs.
- Reliable transportation and a willingness to travel to a client’s home or school.
- The person must possess excellent leadership, interpersonal, and time management skills, proficiency with writing and communication, good problem-solving skills, and work well within teams.
