This is done through providing 1:1 support, providing parent education, and being a safe support system for our clients.

We are looking to fill 1 temporary substitute teaching position in our NPS, Building Connections Academy, which opened this year in Concord, CA. We are looking for One Substitute Special Education teacher with a valid substitute credentialto teach special education in California.

As a Substitute Special Education K-8 Teacher, you will be responsible for providing specialized instruction and support to students with disabilities in grades K-8. You will work closely with students, parents, BCBAs, Behavior Interventionists, and other support staff to implement and monitor individualized education plans (IEPs) and ensure that students with special needs are receiving appropriate accommodations, modifications, and interventions to access the curriculum and achieve their educational goals. You will facilitate the learning process by delivering created lesson plans for project-based lessons. Your role will involve guiding students through the entire project-based learning cycle, including identifying real-world problems, conducting research, developing solutions, and presenting their findings.
