The Warehouse Manager is responsible for the direct management and handling of all warehousing and distribution functions at the organization’s warehouse facility. This includes accountability of inbound and outbound freight, as well as adherence to legislative, safety, and organizational policies and procedures.

This warehouse provides parts to our Farm Equipment Dealers in the USA.

Qualifications:

• Post-secondary education is preferred
• Three to five years of experience running a warehouse environment
• Knowledge of farming equipment and related parts
• Mechanically inclined as this location may assemble larger pieces of equipment for dealers
• Good customer service skills
• Clear written and verbal communication skills
• Problem solving ability
• Able to work as a team. Ability to delegate tasks.
• Leadership and time management skills
• Comfortable using software programs such Microsoft Word and Excel
• Experience using AS400 is an asset or other MRP system

Working Conditions:

• 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday

Job Requirements

Key Responsibilities:

• Order fulfillment; answering phone calls for parts and sales, taking whole good and spare parts orders, place factory orders, print customer orders and take any complaints and issues from Dealers and Territory Managers
• Shipping and receiving; Loading and unloading equipment pertaining to Dealer/ LTL Truck shipments
• Ensure all orders are shipped to customers in a timely manner in adherence to delivery schedules
• Control Inventory accuracy through cycle-count and timely verification of stocks movement and record
• Plan warehouse layout and space requirements to prevent loss or damage, and to achieve full warehouse optimization
• Supervise a team of warehouse employees, including hiring, delegation, training, performance evaluation, disciplinary actions and terminations.
• Ensure that workplace’s health and safety requirements are met and take responsibility for the security of the building and stock.
• Office duties relating to: Issuing credit applications / security agreements for processing, bank deposits and managing office supplies and machines
• Prepare production and other reports
• Perform same duties as workers supervised during busy season
