Job Description:
We are seeking a friendly and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Dental Administrative Assistant. This front office position plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our practice by managing inbound and outbound calls, assisting with patient check-in and check-out processes, and providing administrative support to our dental team.

Responsibilities:

  • Greet patients with a warm and welcoming demeanor upon arrival
  • Assist patients with check-in procedures and update patient information as necessary
  • Answer incoming calls and address patient inquiries or schedule appointments accordingly
  • Make outbound calls to confirm upcoming appointments and follow up on patient treatment plans
  • Maintain patient records accurately and ensure confidentiality of sensitive information
  • Process payments, verify insurance coverage, and provide financial guidance to patients as needed
  • Collaborate with dental providers and support staff to coordinate patient care effectively
  • Perform general office duties such as filing, scanning, and organizing documents
  • Uphold our commitment to exceptional patient care and customer service at all times

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Previous experience in a dental or medical office preferred but not required; we are willing to train the right candidate
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency in computer skills and familiarity with dental software
