We are looking for an Assistant General Manager/Front of the House Manager to ensure all daily activities run smoothly and efficiently. An Assistant General Manager/Front of the House Manager's responsibilities include but are not limited to managing each shift, supervising restaurant staff performance, scheduling all employees and more. To be successful in this role, you should be familiar with restaurant operations and have a good understanding of what makes great customer service. You should be available to work within opening hours, including weekends and holidays. Full time position with flexible hours and days. Ultimately, you will help boost our employee retention and deliver a positive dining experience for our guests.

Responsibilities

• Manage each shift and meet expectations for guest satisfaction and overall standard operating procedures of the business including safety and proper sanitation standards.
• Proactive management through strategic anticipation of potential challenges and creating solutions for resolutions.
• Coordinate communication between front of the house and back of the house staff
• Prepare shift schedules
• Direct all hiring and training for the team
• Creates a working environment where all team-members feel supported
• Supervise staff and provide assistance, as needed
• Monitor compliance with safety and hygiene regulations
• Gather guests’ feedback and recommend improvements
• Oversee and ensure that all company systems and policies are maintained
• Participate in management meetings and effectively communicate to leadership about current operations
• Ensure a harassment free work environment

• Good judgment with the ability to make timely and sound decisions

Skills

• Work experience as a Assistannt General Manager/Front of the House Manager or similar role
• Customer service attitude
• Communication and team management abilities with customers and employees
• Availability to work within opening hours (e.g. evenings, holidays, weekends)
• High school diploma
• POS familiarity (we currently use TOAST POS)
• Computer Skills, knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
• Manage labor and product cost
• Great time Management
• Valid Driver License Required

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $65,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
