HCP Talent is collaborating with a Long Term Care/Rehabilitation facility (270 beds) in Brooklyn, NY 11214 that is seeking a Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) for a full-time day shift M-F position***Free Parking***

ADON Duties and Responsibilities:

• Creating a safe, healthy work environment that supports delivery of high-quality resident care.
• Creating a culture where highly engaged team members are able to contribute to the best in resident care and to grow professionally.
• Assuring the best resident care by supervising and directing Nursing Personnel
• Serving as a liaison for all nursing staff and nurse management
• Making decisions regarding nursing and unit problems
• Attending and supervising wound rounds weekly
• Participating in facility surveys
• Communicating effectively with staff, physicians, and resident’s families

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Valid RN license in New York State
• 2 years Long-term care experience required
• 3 years Supervisory experience required
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
