Position: Assistant Director of Nursing

Supervisor: Reports to the Director of Nursing

Responsibilities:

Craft and uphold nursing service objectives, norms, and procedures.

Manage and oversee nursing administration and resident care.

Strategize, synchronize, and enhance resident care activities.

Foster clear communication to ensure seamless resident care.

Investigate and present solutions for challenging scenarios.

Collaborate closely with the Director of Nursing on resident care issues.

Act as a representative for nursing services and engage with other departments.

Requirements:

Graduate of an accredited nursing school.

Possesses a Bachelor’s degree (Master’s preferred).

Holds current state registration.

Boasts at least five years of supervisory experience in healthcare, including geriatric or psychiatric nursing.
