TITLE: Bus Aide
EMPLOYMENT TERMS: 0.75 FTE / 9-month
SALARY CLASSIFICATION: Classified
GENERAL STATEMENT of RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Bus Aide is assigned to special bus routes to assist the school bus driver and students while being transported to the District’s regular and extracurricular programs. This position provides assistance to students entering and exiting the vehicle and student health care support along with the general monitoring of the students on the bus.

Medium risk - Work is routinely performed in both indoor and outdoor environments, including exposure to noise and being on your feet for extended periods of time. Requires standing in inclement weather including summer heat.

The evaluation is done by the Transportation Coordinator in accordance with provisions specified in governing board policy.
SUPERVISION RECEIVED:
The Bus Aide reports directly to the Transportation Coordinator.
