Broward Litigation Law Firm is Hiring an Associate Attorney Near Fort Lauderdale, FL

We are looking for a Florida Bar licensed associate attorney for civil litigation work to add to the attorneys and paralegals and support staff. Junior associate with prior experience. Starting salary is between $95,000 and $120,000 per year depending on qualifications, plus benefits, PTO, 401k, insurance, Bar Dues and CLEs paid for, and growth opportunities. Candidate must have some prior civil litigation experience, such as conducting discovery, performing detailed legal research, preparing motions and oppositions, and attending and arguing at court appearances.

Attorney Qualifications:

  • The Florida Bar licensed
  • At least one year of civil litigation experience
  • Proven excellent legal research and writing skills
  • A great attorney work ethic

Job Responsibilities Include:

  • Drafting pleadings, motions, opposition memorandum
  • Conducting discovery, including paper discovery and depositions
  • Working on case litigation strategy and planning
  • Directly working with clients and dealing with opposing counsel
  • Arguing at motion calendar and evidentiary hearings
