Description

SUMMARY

Maintains schedules for Nursing Home and Group Homes employees. Obtains coverage for call outs. Assists Human Resource Department with required employee paperwork.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

1. Schedules personnel for the organization facility.
2. Maintains "Staff availability Log."
3. Maintains employee telephone list on schedule.
4. Data Entry of hours worked for staff into the time & attendance.
5. Performs general office duties; filing, typing, data/computer entry, mailings a receive supplies for facility.
6. Prepares and reviews swipes for payroll accuracy with hours claimed by staff.
7. Covers on-call and maintains on-call phone log.
8. Provides telephone coverage for as needed.
9. Maintains employee attendance records.
10. Ensures all clinical units are adequately staffed.
11. Participates in potential employee interviews.
12. Ensures new employees return orientation packet.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS

Valid Florida Driver's License

LANGUAGE SKILLS

Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
