We are seeking a collaborative team member with a friendly work style, who's well-organized, detail-oriented, and able to effectively manage facilities that include 4 buildings between Jacksonville, Miami and Tallassee and over 60 vehicles and trailers. Over achievers are welcome.

Building & Grounds:

• Oversee Maintenance and repairs of electrical, plumbing, carpentry, painting, security, and other building systems
• Regularly inspect building and grounds
• Vet, qualify, hire, and hold accountable vendors and contractors to perform repairs and maintenance, including cleaning crews at all locations
• Schedule day-to-day repairs as needed
• Oversee ground maintenance including lawn, weeds, shrubs, trees and yard.
• Coordinate power washing of building when needed.
• Coordinate repair/replacement of signs as needed.
• Purchase cleaning, maintenance, breakroom, training room and building supplies for all offices
• Ensure all common areas including breakroom, training room, kitchens and refrigerators are clean and maintained

Vehicles and trailers:

• Maintain fleet summary by department and drivers
• Handle all DMV issues including registrations and tags
• Coordinate with insurance agency adding and removing insurance on vehicles and adding and removing drivers
• Maintain driver list and keys for all vehicle
• Oversee vehicle maintenance (including fleet washing/detailing)
• Explore best options for a national account for vehicle maintenance
• Forecast vehicle replacement needs including timing and estimated costs
• Handle all vehicle accidents. Gather information from driver in coordination with supervisor and controller. Report accident to insurance company and handle vehicle repairs.
• Explore vehicle purchase options upon request
• Deliver buyers orders to accounting once vehicle purchased
• Coordinate outfitting of vehicles

New Construction:

• Ensure grounds maintained safely during construction of Jacksonville warehouse expansion.
• Coordinate parking during construction and special events
• Meet with construction manager to ensure milestones met for construction draws

Other Tasks as requested by Management

Desired Skills & Experience

• Min of 5 years related experience
• Basic Computer skills and knowledge. Familiarity with MS Office applications, specifically Excel and Word. MicroSoft 365/SharePoint a plus
