Description

This Inside Sales Support position provides HVAC estimates and proposals including labor, materials and subcontractors as required to complete minor and major repairs and equipment replacements. Working directly with the Service Sales Team, you will estimate and prepare proposals for and with the Service Sales Team.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with the sales team, technicians, subcontractors, and vendors to estimate and write HVAC repair and replacement proposals.
• Work with service sales team, and operations team to develop and create service projects and maintenance proposals.

• Develop scope of work and materials list for all estimated jobs.
• Identify existing HVAC systems and assist with solutions to solve customer HVAC System issues.
• Assist with conducting HVAC surveys as necessary for repairs and or service agreements that may be required. Perform job walks, site surveys, and attend pre-bid meetings as required.
• Utilize your experience and skills and the collaboration of your teammates to solve the owner’s and/or operator’s needs with Mechanical solutions.
• Maintain and develop relationships with sub-contractors, vendors, and suppliers to complete estimates in a timely manner.
• Work with service sales team to ensure a smooth transition of new work to operations.
• Prepare accurate and thorough sales activity reports
• Participate in sales meetings, workshops, and seminars to consistently grow in professional knowledge.

Qualifications

• Must have a technical understanding of HVAC systems and related electrical systems.
• Ability to read and comprehend mechanical drawings and blueprints.
• Strong time management and organizational skills.
• Strong communications and interactive skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office products (especially Microsoft Excel) and ability to learn software estimating systems.
• Valid driver’s license.
