Job Summary:
We are seeking a part/time, dedicated, and organized Program Assistant (PA) to join our team. The PA will provide administrative tasks to support the programs and services provided to the community. The ideal candidate will have an interest in serving low- moderate-income neighborhoods, to provide underserved residents with vital resources, to enhance their quality of life.
Responsibilities:
- Assist counselors and program staff, as requested
- Manage front office, greeting walk-in clients and answering telephones
- Data entry into organization's Counselor Max Data Reporting System (training provided)
- Prepare monthly reports as required, and maintain electronic and physical files
- Attend in-house and offsite events, as required
Qualifications:
- Minimum high school diploma, or equivalent.
- Experience in working with non-profit, community organizing preferred but not required
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
