Job Title: Business Analyst, Information Technology

Employment Status: Exempt

Department: Information Technology

Reports To: SVP, Technology

Summary

The Business Analyst will serve as the primary liaison between the Information Technology department and all other departments. This role will assume the role of Subject Matter Expert (SME) for all deployed business applications and interact closely with the team.

Areas of Responsibility

• Works closely with the business community to identify and resolve system and project issues
• Analyze complex business problems and determine an IT solution
• Provide application training in both group and individual setting
• Gather data and analyze business and user needs
• Coordinate the development of documentation to enable implementation and turnover of the process of system
• Define objectives and scope of business system
• Conduct post-project evaluation

Required Skills and Abilities

• Understanding of basic Real Estate, Accounting and Operational processes.
• Expert level in Microsoft Office Applications, including Project
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Proficient in data analysis & SQL
• Experience in programming
• Strong organizational skills
• Understanding business functional areas
• Proficiency in Yardi Voyager preferred.
• Proficiency in Building Engines preferred.

Qualifications

Qualifications

• 3 years of computer applications experience required
• BS in Information Systems or related field of study required
