JOB TITLE Group Exercise Instructor
JOB SUMMARY
While supporting the Mission statement, Group X instructors at Elite Clubs will be responsible for teaching classes with excitement and to encourage retention of members. Ensure members are meeting their goals through these retention programs.
JOB DUTIES
- Coach members at correct level in classes
- Return items you borrow from another area
- Change music list to keep variety in classes
- Stay up on new trends
- Continuing education
- Maintain a great report with class attendees
- Keep the rest of club informed on new things the maybe offering in class
- Attend aerobics meetings
- Keep studios and equipment neat and in working condition
- Follow up on comments/concerns from members with your GXD
- Help Create events that would engage the members in a new way
- Communicate via email as needed
- Work with fitness staff to help get members crossed over and involved in the fitness center as well.
- Remember whether you are in the club or out you are an ambassador for the Elite Clubs. Always give positive feedback don’t allow your personal opinion come in to play when chatting with members. They don’t really want to hear you complain, they want to know what you will do to help make the situation better.
