Hi! We are currently looking for an experienced Registered Nurse to join our outpatient team in Yorktown, NY!

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:30 am - 5:00 pm

Department: Pediatric Neurology

Pay: $40.00 - $70.00 per hour (Depending on Experience)

Job Summary:

The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for managing the individualized patient care by promoting and restoring patients' health through the nursing process; collaborating with physicians and multidisciplinary team members; providing physical and psychological support to patients, friends, and families; and supervising assigned team members.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current licensure in good standing in New York.
• Neurology experience a plus
• Pediatric experience a plus
• BLS preferred

Responsibilities:

• You’ll perform neurological and physical exams.
• You’ll help patients regain their mobility.
• You’ll keep your patient health records up to date.
• You’ll help patients with head injuries from accidents, aneurysms, strokes, and post-surgical wounds.
• Your patience and skills will enable you to help people through recovery and rehabilitation, which can be a long effort when brain trauma is involved.
• Helps patients who experience brain and nervous system disorders, such as Alzheimer’s, strokes, and brain injuries, recover from or learn to manage their condition.
• Monitor patients' neurological activity.
• Administer medicine and tests.
• Assist neurological doctors with procedures, and inform them about patient's conditions.
• Ensure patients' families are kept up to speed with patient's status and progress
