Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:30am-5pm

Department: OB/GYN

Pay: $40.00 - $70.00 per hour (Depending on Experience)

Job Summary:

The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for managing the individualized patient care by promoting and restoring patients' health through the nursing process; collaborating with physicians and multidisciplinary team members; providing physical and psychological support to patients, friends, and families; and supervising assigned team members.

Qualifications

• Graduate from a school of nursing.
• New York state RN license.
• Evidence of BLS preferred.
• OB/GYN experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Educating pregnant women and their families about healthy pregnancy and childbirth.
• Conducting tests and monitoring the health of the mother and fetus.
• Assisting a physician, nurse midwife, or OB/GYN NP during childbirth.
• Assist with routine checkups
• Administer or offer advice on birth control
• Administer vaccines, such as the HPV vaccine
• Assist with blood, urine, or other samples
• Assist with pelvic exams or pap smears
• Assist with the entire labor and delivery process
• Assist new mothers with breastfeeding
