• Preparing room for dining by properly cleaning, wiping down, sweeping, mopping and setting the table to established standards
• Protecting establishment and patrons by adhering to sanitation, safety, and alcohol beverage control policies
• Attending pre-shift meetings to review reservations, special guests, large party accommodations, review daily menu changes, learn all ingredients for all menu items including cocktails, beer and wine and attain new standards of operation.
• Helping patrons select food and beverages by presenting menu; suggesting courses; explaining the chef's specialties; identifying appropriate wines; answering food preparation questions
• Transmitting orders to bar and kitchen by recording patrons' choices; identifying patrons' special dietary needs, allergies and special requests
• Maintaining table setting by removing courses as completed; replenishing utensils; refilling water glasses; being alert to patron spills or other special needs
• Assisting management with intel about guest experience and alerting when a complaint arises
• Concluding dining experience by acknowledging choice of restaurant; inviting patrons to return

• Performing other duties as assigned by manager.

  Skills and Qualifications:

• Experience working in a high volume restaurant with a sense of urgency
• General math skills.
• Excellent verbal and communication skills
• Ability to lift 35lbs
• Must be available nights and weekends
