BronxWorks is hiring one (2) Assistant Cook for the CMOAC Program.

 RESPONSIBILITIES 

• Assist in cooking for the CMOAC as well as two (2) other catered sites
• Assist in serving food to clients at CMOAC or Soundview OAC
• Partake in quarterly staff training, mandatory training in CPR/AED, First Aid etc
• Prepare catering paperwork for the foo driver and for the catered sites
• Conduct Monthly Inventory Follow FIFO

 QUALIFICATIONS 

• Valid Safe Food Handlers’ Certificate
• Bilingual English / Spanish Preferred

 PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS 

• Ability to use a computer for prolonged periods
• Ability to stand for long period of time
•  Ability to occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds
• Ability to walk, or sit for long periods of time
• Ability to bend and retrieve objects and/or documents
• Ability to travel in the boroughs of New York City and its adjacent counties via public transportation
• Ability to travel for a minimum of 1 mile within a reasonable amount of time and in all types of weather, including inclement weather, if required to conduct home visits and/or field work
• Must be able to multi-task
