Broders Cucina Italiana began in 1982 as a shrine to Italian food and New York style Delis. Since it’s opening, it’s been a neighborhood staple and institution. As the General Manager at Broders Cucina Italiana, your top priority will be to facilitate an atmosphere that promotes the values of Broders. POSITION PROFILE:
Title: General Manager
Location: Broders’ Cucina Italiana
Purpose: The role of the General Manager is to showcase our hospitality through effectively managing the retail team. The daily management of service operations should be thoughtfully handled with the highest priority placed on positively presenting ourselves and the quality of our service to our guests.

1. Service Operation
- Execute successful services at Broders’ Cucina Italiana
- Ensure all guests receive the best possible service in a timely fashion and that all issues are addressed and appropriately resolved
- Collaborate with FOH Leads to ensure prompt and quality service for guests
- Participate in maintaining the overall presentation of all product lines throughout the Retail/Grocery area
2. Staff Training and Scheduling
- Lead the development and implementation of comprehensive training materials and procedures for all FOH position
- Support a scheduling of FOH staff to ensure proper coverage on all shifts and budgetary goals met
- Initiate regular feedback conversation with leaders and staff
- Work with FOH leadership to uphold expectations in all moments of service
3. Seasonal Product & Store Oversight
- Collaborate with retail champions in planning for seasonal retail products & displays
- Prepare and execute seasonal service strategies
- Work with BOH Team on seasonal menu changes
- Connect seasonal (and reoccurring) marketing promotions to instore operations
- Develop new or rework existing systems to best suit needs of team and business levels
4. Leadership
- Participate in Entity leadership meetings
- Grow understanding of Shared Leadership and implement the tools within the team
- Participate hiring and recruitment process
- Support FOH Leadership through partnership in and out of service
- Partner with Marketing team regarding seasonal or reoccurring promotions
Physical Demands:
· This position will require long periods of standing on hard surfaces. There is also likely to be extensive lifting of supplies and materials and moderate to loud noise. The use of hands and arms to reach for, grasp and manipulate objects is required. Finger dexterity may be required for cash register use.
