**Job Summary:**
We are seeking a skilled Service Writer to join our team. The Service Writer will be responsible for assisting customers with their powersports service needs, providing estimates, and ensuring excellent customer service.
**Duties:**
- Greet customers and assist them with scheduling service appointments
- Listen to customer concerns and accurately document issues
- Provide estimates for automotive services and repairs
- Communicate with technicians to ensure timely completion of work
- Maintain accurate records of services performed and parts used
- Handle cash transactions and process payments
- Address customer inquiries and provide updates on service progress
**Skills:**
- Proficiency in powersports service terminology and processes
- Knowledge of powersports diagnostics and repair procedures
- Experience in powersports and with lightspeed software
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately
- Strong customer service skills to ensure customer satisfaction
- Excellent communication skills to effectively transmit information between customers and technicians
- Mechanical knowledge to understand service requirements and recommendations
