CANDIDATE SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

Years Required / Preferred Experience

8 years - Required High level knowledge and experience of network facilities and data processing techniques, of computer hardware and software, of network operating system and security software, and of performance monitoring and capacity management tools

8 years - Required Extensive knowledge and experience using LDAP/Windows Active Directory, Microsoft SQL Server, and Hypervisor Experience with Hyper-V and VMware.

8 years - Required Knowledge and experience of administering Windows Systems (Group Policy, Kerberos, NTLM, TCP/IP, WINS, DNS, DHCP, PXE), Linux, Network Administration, IT Governance, and Security/Privacy policies and tools.

8 years - Required Additional / Preferred experience supporting the following: Ansible, SFTP/FTPS, Kubernetes and open-source software. Ability to direct and organize work activities

8 years - Required Strong ability to identify problems/issues, analyze and evaluate alternatives and recommend/implement effective solutions.

8 years - Required Experience supporting Windows and Linux systems with cloud service providers (AWS, Azure, etc).

8 years - Required Experience providing server and application support on a 24X7 on-call basis and on a rotating schedule basis. Perform other tasks and duties as assigned.

8 years - Required Experience with server hardware equipment replacement/upgrades.

6 years - Preferred Ability to prepare concise written reports appropriate to the audience. Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.

6 years - Preferred Ability to plan and coordinates server maintenance activities with TIERS Data Center Contractor and CSPs services, including security patching and other activities related to the TIERS Security Program. May assist in Data Center Maintenance Coordination.

6 years - Preferred Experience supporting Microsoft SQL Server Enterprise. Experience installing and implementing SQL Server clustered environment,
