The restaurant Host/Hostess is the first employee to interact with arriving guests entering the restaurant, so you must be able to make them feel welcome and acknowledged. It is the job of the Host/Hostess to greet guests, welcome them to the restaurant and seat them accordingly. Pay is $10 an hour plus tip out from Servers.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Welcome guests with a kind greeting upon entry
• Seat guests to their table and inform servers of their new customers
• Maintain a clean and presentable Host/Hostess work station
• Help bus, clean and set tables (teamwork!) for the restaurant
• Be confident and proficient at phone and computer systems
• Monitor the cleanliness of the Restrooms periodically throughout shift
• Constantly remain in communication with management with any customer needs
• Making our guests feel welcome as they come and go!
• Skills and Specifications:
• Must be 18 years or older
• Have a friendly personality that enjoys interacting with customers on a daily basis
• Strong work ethic and the ability to multi-task and perform under pressure
• Organization and management skills
