Overview

A busy family in Houston, TX is seeking a top-notch estate manager to help with their local properties and east coast properties. The estate manager should have prior experience running multiple properties, managing staff, vendor relations, creating policies and procedures, house manuals, etc. The family is new to having an estate manager so this should be someone who can roll up their sleeves, create initial policies and procedures, and is comfortable starting things off from scratch and growing a team as the family grows. There is currently a housekeeper and chef so additional candidates will need to be hired and this role will be the team leader and work to create an environment where there is a solid team to depend on. This role requires someone who has the ability to communicate with the principals and their team to create a smooth transition to overtake all responsibilities off the principals plate.

The role requires travel to multiple properties to proactively maintain and create consistency throughout. This is a fully staffed home so prior experience managing staff is required. The position will start asap, so looking to have someone in place and ready to go within the next few weeks. The client is offering a competitive salary and benefits package.
