Overview

First-time parents in Menlo Park, CA are urgently seeking a superlative newborn care specialist for their 3-week-old, to start as soon as possible. This role is only open to local, live-out candidates. The contract term will be 12 weeks, as follows: 4 weeks, 7 nights per week, from 8pm-8am Monday through Friday, and weekends from 10pm-8am; 4 weeks, 6 nights per week, from 8pm-8am Sunday through Friday; 4 weeks, 5 nights per week, from 10pm-8am Sunday through Thursday.

Responsibilities

• Awake care for the first few weeks, then sleeping when the baby sleeps after that
• Prioritizing the safety and well-being of the baby at all times
• Implementing an effective sleep routine that the parents can follow once the term ends
• Providing practical tools to enable the parents to keep baby on schedule during the day, thus setting baby up for success at night
• Providing general support and assistance, where possible (given the nighttime schedule)

Qualifications

• Must have at least 5 years' verifiable experience working as a newborn care specialist
• Must have experience working nights

Requirements

• US passport, Green Card or EAC 
• Able to commute to Menlo Park (this role is not open to out-of-state candidates at this time)
• COVID vaccinated (no boosters required), and up to date on Flu/RSV/Tdap and MMR vaccinations
• Passport ready and willing to travel, if required 
• Trustline registered (or willing to register ASAP) 
• Available to start ASAP

Salary and Benefits

• $60 per hour
