Overview

A lovely family of four in Old Greenwich, CT is seeking a part-time nanny/family assistant to care for their two school-aged daughters. The children are 8 and 10 years old, and the schedule for this role is Monday through Friday, 1-7pm, for a total of 35 hours. The family is open to providing more hours for a candidate who is willing to take on additional responsibilities in the home. Duties for this role include childcare as well as home-related tasks. Childcare duties primarily revolve around transportation to extracurricular activities, homework help, and managing evening meal and hygiene routines. The family has a housekeeper, so this role will not include housekeeping outside of organization projects and keeping things tidy as needed. Family assistant tasks will include making sure bags are packed for school and activities, preparing basic meals for the children, grocery shopping, researching and scheduling activities, party planning, and shopping for and wrapping gifts. The ideal candidate for this role will have a camp-counselor energy and feel comfortable working with older children.

The family has two small dogs, so candidates should be able to assist with some pet care as needed. Driving is required for this position. The family does not require their nanny to travel with them.
