As a part of our Garden Services Team, the Assistant Gardener will share responsibility for daily oversight of the on-site property management of assigned Clientele.

Responsibilities

• Proactively communicate with Department Manager and assigned clients to ensure high-quality service delivery.
• Supervise assigned crew members, leading by example and ensuring adherence to Britescape standards and core values.
• Ensure safety compliance according to Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) standards.
• Maintain and manage every aspect of the residential landscape to meet Britescape standards, including property management, weeding, mulching, mowing, fine pruning, planting, and irrigation & lighting troubleshooting/repair.
• Work in tandem with Department Managers to manage budget and project needs.

Qualifications

• Pursuing one of the following: Certified Professional Horticulture (CPH), ECO Pro (optional), Master Pruner (Plant Amnesty), Horticulture / Botany degree (optional).
• Ability to work outdoors in varying terrain and weather conditions.
• Positive attitude and strong problem-solving skills.
• Ability to develop a positive rapport with clients and team members.
• Valid Driver's License

Compensation

The pay range for this position starts at $22-$26 per hour, depending on experience. (Relevant degrees and professional experience will be considered additional experience)
