Responsibilities:
- Create and implement age-appropriate lesson plans and activities for preschool-aged children
- Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children to learn and grow
- Foster social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development through play-based learning
- Maintain open and effective communication with parents regarding their child's progress
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to ensure a cohesive learning environment
- Manage classroom behavior and promote positive behavior management techniques
- Ensure the health and safety of all children in the classroom
- Maintain a clean and organized classroom environment
Qualifications:
- Previous experience working with preschool-aged children in a daycare or classroom setting
- Knowledge of childhood development principles and best practices
- Ability to provide caregiving support to young children, including diapering, feeding, and comforting
- Familiarity with first aid procedures for minor injuries or emergencies
- Strong classroom management skills to create an engaging and structured learning environment
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and colleagues.
