Job Overview:
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated individuals to join our team as Home Health Aides. As a Home Health Aide, you will provide essential care and support to patients in their homes or assisted living facilities. Duties:
- Assist patients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- reminders and assist with medication management
- Monitor vital signs and report any changes or concerns to the healthcare team
- Provide companionship and emotional support to patients
- Assist with meal planning, preparation, and feeding
- Help with light housekeeping tasks, such as laundry and tidying up
- Assist with mobility and transfers
- Provide assistance with medical documentation and record keeping
- Perform specialized tasks such as tube feeding, catheter care, and wound care as required
- Support patients receiving hospice care

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of a state-approved Home Health Aide training program or willing to be trained.
- Previous experience in a similar role preferred
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and patient privacy rights
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Compassionate and empathetic nature
- Ability to follow instructions and adhere to care plans
- Reliable transportation to travel to patient homes or assisted living facilities

Skills:
- Proficient in taking vital signs accurately
- Experience working in assisted living facilities or nursing homes is a plus
- Familiarity with medical documentation procedures
- Knowledge of tube feeding techniques and protocols
- Understanding of hospice care principles and practices
- Ability to provide compassionate patient care while maintaining professionalism

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $13.00 - $16.00 per hour

Expected hours: 9 – 40 per week

Standard shift:

• Monday to Friday
• Weekends as needed
