Research Lab Tech I, Neurosurgery Research
- (3284011)The Cerebrovascular Research Laboratory is part of the Department of Neurosurgery at the Brigham and Women’s Hospital. Our research is focused on understanding the genetic basis of and developing new therapeutics for cerebrovascular diseases including stroke, aneurysms, and arteriovenous malformations.
We are looking for an energetic and highly organized Technical Research Assistant interested in both clinical and laboratory research, including animal experiments, related to cerebrovascular diseases. The position will involve assisting postdoctoral fellows and senior scientists with both preclinical and clinical research. The position requires patient contact, obtaining and processing clinical samples and data in addition to laboratory research with standard molecular biology techniques and mice. Other tasks may involve helping with various regulatory animal and human protocols and maintaining a database.
