Washington, D.C. (Hybrid)
Salary: $85,000 , with potential flexibility based on experience
Terrific Grants Manager position with an international development nonprofit. The role will oversee the sub-award grants pipeline for the organization, ensuring that all pre- and post-award requirements are met in a timely manner. The Grants Manager will design, implement, and oversee a full life-cycle grants management process for a new award that will support a large group of grantees. This position will work to ensure that all awards, primarily from the U.S. government, are compliant with donor and regulatory requirements. This role will also monitor the grants process to ensure implementation of and compliance with best practices. Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required. Bilingual is a plus. The salary range is $85,000, with potential flexibility based on experience.
Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the full lifecycle of the grants pipeline for the organization
  • Collaborate with the Programs team to review grants, ensure contractual agreements are followed, and establish grant criteria
  • Provide oversight relating to funder regulation compliance
  • Work with implementation teams and grantees on compliance training
  • Participate in business development activities for grant proposal development
  • Travel internationally, as needed
Qualifications:
  • Approximately 3-5 years of relevant grants and contracts experience
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required; Master's degree a plus
  • Experience with USAID or other large US government donors
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Bilingual in French, Spanish, or Arabic is a plus
  • Ability to travel internationally, as needed
