Job Description
- Craft content including articles, op-eds. press releases, web copy, speeches, and other pieces of writing that speak to the organization's brand
- Develop a content strategy that coincides with the organization's calendar of events to support projects and programs
- Manage a large portfolio of projects, as well as shifting priorities
- Conduct interviews to create impact articles
- Author thought leadership articles and speeches for various staff, taking on their voice in the writing
- Write copy for social media posts across all major platforms
- Review and proofread writing that is created by other teams within the organization
- Approximately 5 years of relevant writing experience for various audiences
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required
- Experience creating content for print and social media
- Excellent storyteller with the ability to write compelling pieces
- Strong independent operator
- Experience with SEO or content/design/layouts a plus
- Passion for the community
