A renowned Magnet-recognized hospital in White Plains, NY, is searching for a Registered Nurse for its Progressive Care Unit. In this role, you will provide direct patient care, assess patients’ needs, develop care plans, implement & evaluate nursing regimens, and collaborate with physicians, peers, and various healthcare team members.

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct and individualized patient care in a step-down unit.
• Care for a diverse patient population that requires close monitoring and patients that are stable with complex care not requiring intensive monitoring.
• Obtain and document vital signs and cardiac rhythms at a minimum of every two hours.
• Use appropriate steps in the decision-making process regarding patient care and unit-based issues.
• Integrate patient rights and nursing ethics into work practice.
• Sustain and advance the Magnet model.

Qualifications:

• A BSN is required.
• Active RN license.
• 1 years of RN experience is required.

Additional info:

• Full-time, permanent position.
• Two shifts available, 7a-7p and 7p-7a
• Pay; $50-$66.50/hr., depending on experience differentials.
