BrettonTrova is Hiring an Emergency Department RN Near Lewiston, ME

A prestigious healthcare system in Maine is searching for Emergency Department Registered Nurses for one of its hospitals in Lewiston. In this role, you will be an essential member of the patient care team and responsible for the delivery of direct patient care utilizing the nursing process. You will triage patients, assess symptoms, plan interventions, implement treatment plans, evaluate responses to interventions, and revise care plans based on overall effectiveness. Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct patient care.
  • Gather and interpret data through history taking and physical assessments and plan interventions to meet patients’ needs.
  • Document care provided and the patient’s progress toward desired outcomes.
  • Educate patients and families about the plan of care and how to manage their care after discharge.
  • Administer medications to patients as directed.

Qualifications:

  • An ADN is required, and a BSN is preferred.
  • Active RN license.

  • Full-time, permanent position
  • Schedule: 3x12
  • Multiple shifts available: 7a-7p, 7p-7a, and 11a-11p
  • Pay; $32-43 $/hr., depending on experience, differentials!
