Job Title: Registered Nurse - Emergency Department RNJob Summary:We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our fast-paced Emergency Department team. The ideal candidate will be able to assess, prioritize, and provide exceptional care to patients in emergency situations. The Registered Nurse will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure efficient and effective patient care.Responsibilities and Duties:1. Assess and triage patients in the Emergency Department2. Administer medications and treatment according to physician orders3. Monitor and record patient vital signs and progress4. Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans5. Provide education and support to patients and their families6. Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records7. Participate in emergency response and code blue situations8. Adhere to hospital policies and procedures for infection control and patient safetyQualifications and Skills:1. Active Registered Nurse license in the state of employment2. CPR certification3. ACLS and PALS certification preferred4. Minimum of 2 years of experience in an Emergency Department setting5. Strong communication and interpersonal skills6. Ability to remain calm and focused in high-stress situations7. Critical thinking and problem-solving skills8. Willingness to work rotating shifts, including nights and weekends9.
