Job Summary The Senior Manager, Process Agility works directly with the Department Leader to set the Process Agility Strategy and executes the strategy by leading and developing a team of high performing process and internal control designers and transformation specialists to assess, design/re-engineer and drive implementation of processes. The Senior Manager sets clear expectations to achieve consistent and quality work products, as well as, drive accountability to those expectations within the team. The Senior Manager, Process Agility identifies and implements ways to build and continuously enhance the team’s business acumen and enterprise wide thinking skills which are critical to making the right recommendations to support our unique business. Job Description Essential Job Functions: Leadership: Responsible for building a high performing team to assess, design/re-engineer and transform processes with confident recommendations to implement the right controls to safeguard business operations across the first line of defense. Oversee and drives the quality of work product through clear performance expectations, actionable feedback, accountability and timely/relevant coaching. Responsible for the team’s talent acquisition, talent development and professional development including suggesting targeted educational opportunities and certifications. Business Relationships: Develop and maintains influential relationships with Senior Management across the enterprise generating perspective Process Improvement projects. Consult with FLOD leaders for end-to-end process reviews, process and quality metrics. Generate awareness and education to FLDO partners on Continuous Improvement foundations. Strategy: Refines prioritization process to ensure the team executes on the most impactful projects to enable key revenue generating opportunities and/or drive significant cost savings across the enterprise. Leads evaluation of business processes across the enterprise and develops an independent perspective of common themes and problem statements to strategically align like work when needed to drive holistic business solutions as opposed to addressing problem statements in siloes. Manages book of work in alignment with enterprise strategy to drive most impactful work; strategically staffs projects. Consults on complex business issues beyond assigned project work when appropriate; recommends approaches and actions to be taken. Establishes and promotes Continuous and Process Improvement principles and thinking. Reports to: Director Working Conditions/ Physical Requirements: Normal office environment, some travel may be required (not typical). This position is hybrid with an onsite schedule of 3-4 days per month. In-office requirements are subject to change based on business needs. This position is currently available to candidates that reside within 60 miles of Columbus, OH; Chadds Ford, PA; Plano, TX; Draper, UT; Wilmington, DE or New York, NY. Direct Reports: Yes Minimum Qualifications: Eight or more years of experience in Process or Control Design/Improvement, Process or Risk Advisory, Operational Excellence, Process or Risk Assurance, Quality, Continuous Improvement, Lean/Six Sigma, Project Management, Change Management Preferred Experience: Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Operations Management, Management Information Systems, Accounting or related field Ten or more years of experience in Process or Control Design/Improvement, Process or Risk Advisory, Operational Excellence, Continuous Improvement, Quality, Lean/Six Sigma, Project Management, Change Management Relevant advanced training and/or professional certification preferred (in one or more of the following): process design, process improvement methods/tools, risks and controls, organizational change management Five or more years' experience leading teams through direct or indirect supervisory experience This job description is illustrative of the types of duties typically performed by this job. Typical Starting Range: $120,500.00 - $218,300.00 Full Salary Range for position: California: $138,600.00 - $272,900.00 Colorado: $120,500.00 - $229,200.00 New York: $132,500.00 - $272,900.00 Washington: $126,500.00 - $251,100.00 The actual base pay within this range may be dependent upon many factors, which may include, but are not limited to, work location, education, experience, and skills. Bread Financial offers medical, prescription drug, dental, vision, and other voluntary benefits (including basic and optional life insurance, supplemental medical plans, and short and long-term disability) to eligible associates (regular full-time associates scheduled to work 30 hours per week or more) and their spouses/domestic partners, and child(ren) under the age of 26. New associate elected coverage begins on date of hire (with the exception of disability coverage which has a 6-month waiting period). Six weeks of 100% paid parental leave for eligible parents is available after a 180-day waiting period. Hired associates can immediately enroll in Bread Financial’s 401(k) plan. All associates receive 11 paid holidays. Associates have discretion in managing their time away from work through the Flexible Time Off (FTO) program and may need to notify and receive approval from their manager prior to taking the time off. Associates (except those located in Illinois) receive 80 hours of Paid Sick and Safe Time (“PSST”) upon hire and at the beginning of each subsequent calendar year. Illinois associates receive 40 hours of Illinois PSST upon hire and at the beginning of each subsequent calendar year and 40 hours of Illinois Paid Leave upon hire and at the beginning of each subsequent calendar year. Illinois Paid Leave must be used before associates in Illinois will be approved to take FTO. Hired associates will be able to elect the purchase company stock during offering periods in June and December.
