Job Summary:

The role of the Field Maintenance Technician is critical to our company's success. This position proactively and responsively delivers preventive maintenance and failure repairs on all toll collection equipment owned and/or operated by our clients. As a member of the roadside maintenance team, Field Maintenance Technicians work to optimally maintain equipment functionality, so that no adverse impacts occur to traffic flow, road safety or accurate revenue collection. This position will be provided with a company vehicle, laptop, tool kit and the appropriate equipment to get the job done safely and accurately.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Monitor system performance on-site and remotely.
• Ensure performance is maintained and optimized within system specifications.
• Provide responsive field and remote service for all assigned equipment.
• Complete routine preventative maintenance on all equipment to meet service level agreements.
• Maintain timely and accurate records within the service ticketing system.
• Develop technical and product knowledge through formal and informal training.
• Properly maintain company service vehicles, computers, equipment, and tools.

Configure, Troubleshoot, Install and Repair:

• Linux and Windows based PCs.
• Video cameras, lighting, and controllers for image collection systems
• Radio Frequency System (RFID) readers
• Vehicle Sensors such as Inductive Loops, Treadles, Optical Separators, etc.
• Local and Wide Area Network equipment
• Other proprietary technologies and equipment

Work Schedule & Environment:

• Rotation on-call schedule to ensure after-hours support.
• Overtime hours as needed to support equipment repair and installation.
• The roadside maintenance team operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year.
• Ability to meet or exceed the required client service level agreements.
• Comfortable outdoors in all weather conditions, including extreme heat and extreme cold.
• Work on-site in an office and/or warehouse environment.
• Work off-site from designated locations safely, including company vehicles
• Ability to work safely at heights up to 40ft utilizing bucket trucks, ladders, or other means.
• Ability to regularly lift 50lbs.

Education and Experience:

• Formal education in Electronics or Information Technology and/or Relevant Military training or experience and/or a combination of related training and employment experience.
• 1-2 years maintenance experience of critical large-scale systems.

Maintenance experience in one of the following areas is desired, but not required:

• Military Electronics fields such as Avionics, Communication, etc.
• PC/Server Service
• Toll collection systems
• RFID System Service
• Security and Surveillance System Service
• Experience with Work Order based maintenance (Service Now, MaintainX, Limble)
• 24/7 on-call experience in a mission critical environment

Other Attributes:

• Willingness to undergo a motor vehicle records check, background check, drug test and DOT medical exam as required, in accordance with local laws and legislation.
• Hourly Wage Expectations between $26.44 and $32.00
