We are looking for an experienced Senior Data Project Analyst who thrives in a building environment. This role plays an integral role in our Workday data and reporting strategies.The Senior Data Projects Analyst will play an integral part in our HR Service Delivery team. This role will own stakeholder management for our HR Data projects for Workday and other systems. The role will initiate kick off calls, gather requirements, and partner with our Service Delivery Manager to ensure that customer expectations are being met per agreed upon schedules. The role functions as a HR business analyst, responsible for translating business needs into Workday capabilities and team deliverables.

Responsibilities

• Oversees intake, prioritization, status report out, and user acceptance sign off for Data Projects relating to Workday and other HR data systems.
• Acts as translator of business requirements into technical requirements for HR data projects.
• Coordinates with offshore Service Delivery team to ensure that project milestones and execution dates are being met.
• Responsible for creating and overseeing an annual Workday data audit process, including the audit of non-integration payroll systems.
• Communicates out data audit findings with recommendations for data quality improvements.
• Responsible for mentoring our Workday Data Captains, individuals within BrandSafway business units responsible for data quality and projects.
• Ensures that Data Captain deliverables are being met through frequent touchpoints, trainings, and office hours.
• Oversees the Workday Supervisory Organization structures and leads the 2024 project to standardize and simplify our Sup Org hierarchy.
• Leads various data projects including DEI collection, craft/field contact information collection, and other efforts as determined by business requirements and priorities.
• Responsible for data collection and standardization efforts associated with any M&A activity.
• Oversees data consolidation efforts as BrandSafway continues to sunset legacy non-HR business applications.
• Partners with key stakeholders (HR, Finance, IT) to ensure team is meeting deliverable, constantly gathering feedback.
• Owns and maintains Workday data documents including data dictionaries, data mapping files, and Super User knowledge base articles to ensure Workday data is accurate.
• Creates a Workday data quality scorecard and reports out on measurements and clean up efforts on quarterly basis.

Qualifications

• Previous in a business analyst/data quality role 
• 6-8 years of HR or business operations experience
• 4-5 years of data quality experience
• 2-4 years of Workday experience
• 1-2 years of Workday reporting experience

• 1-2 years’ experience with Prism Analytics
• Passionate about data quality and customer service
• Experience working across global teams
• Sound judgement to manage conflicting priorities and manage client expectations.
• In depth understanding of HR employee lifecycle
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Experience of Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel and Power Point
