Summary

As a Medical Equipment Technician, R&D at BTT Corp, you will play an integral role in our healthcare operations. Your main responsibilities include technical support for our medical equipment and systems, ensuring their optimal function and reliability. You will collaborate closely with clinical staff and physicians to support the treatment and prevention of diseases, adhering to our high standards of quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up and maintain devices for treatment and trouble shoot as needed
• Maintain laboratory equipment and troubleshoot issues as needed.
• Perform quality control checks to ensure accurate and reliable test results.
• Document and interpret run data for device improvement strategies.
• Draft and review procedures, protocols, and work instructions for relevant tests or devices
• Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Stay updated with the latest advancements and techniques in medical laboratory technology.
• Assist in inventory management, including ordering and stocking necessary supplies.
• Comply with all relevant regulatory requirements and maintain confidentiality of patient information.
• Maintains proprietary and confidential Company information
• Follows BTT Corp’s general safety rules
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned

Qualifications and Experience

Educational Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Associate degree in Biomedical Technology, Engineering, or related field is desirable.

Training and Skills:

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, SharePoint, and Adobe Acrobat.
• Strong prioritization, critical thinking, and organizational skills.
• Effective communication and ability to work collaboratively.
• Physical ability to move equipment and perform tasks as needed.

Additional Information:

Proficiency in Spanish or Portuguese is a plus.

This role may require occasional lifting of more than 35 pounds and performing tasks that involve bending, stooping, and reaching.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $22.00 per hour
